Histogram Analysis
Histogram Analysis
Intensity Distribution: Generate histograms of backscatter intensity across the mosaic. A consistent and smooth distribution indicates good processing, while spikes or gaps may indicate problems with normalization or corrections.
Comparative Analysis: Compare histograms from different areas of the mosaic to ensure consistency across the dataset. Significant variations in similar seafloor types may suggest issues with beam pattern corrections or angle dependency.
