New User Self Registration Process
Follow the steps for self registration:

1 | Navigate to coordination.ausseabed.gov.au and choose to sign in | |
2 | A new screen will pop up asking you to sign in (existing users) or offering you a link to “sign up”. *Note - this is also where existing users can reset their passwords. | |
3 | Click on the link to “sign up” and enter in your email and password | |
4 | The system will send a verification code to the specified email address. | |
5 | The first time you log in, you will be asked to enter a requested organisation. This is a free text field and helps AusSeabed verify your login. | |
6 | Once you have entered your requesting organisation, an internal AusSeabed Administrator will finalise your userID and you will receive an email confirming your ID is setup and you are free to enter new records into the system. *Please note, the Survey Coordination Tool assigns ownership of (and ability to edit) a record by matching the assigned custodian with the assigned organisation of a UserID. Until your ID has been confirmed, no organisation will be assigned. Any records created prior to your userID being confirmed will be saved, but will not be visible until after confirmation. |
