The home page consists of a menu frame on the left and a card system menu for selecting key components.

The menus on the left hand frame replicate the four key components along with other functions to assist in using the Data Register Tool and providing feedback.

The Add Lookup Values menu provides a mechanism for the inclusion of additional values, that if accepted by the AusSeabed Data Manager will be made available to all users.

The Support Contacts page is under development but iniitally provides an email contact address for feedback and issues.

The User Profile menu exists to ensure that if your organisation is not registered with you user account, it can be updated. This is only required once.

The User Guide is a link to this series of help pages within the AusSeabed Public Confluence site.

The Glossary provides a definition or context to some of the terms used by the Data Register.

  • My Submissions is for regsitering the metadata for Data Acquisitions/Surveys and Compilations.

  • The Public Register will identify all QA records approved for distribution

  • My Contributing Hub is for our Contributing Hub Partners to regsiter the metadata relating to web services that will be published on the Marine Data Portal.

  • The Contributing Hub Service Register will be accessible only to Contributing Hub partners and will report on what services have been QA and Published on the Portal.
