Check Level of Quality
The check step of the quality framework should be considered a deep dive into the technical and meta- quality elements of the package. The priority technical quality elements are positional accuracy, temporal quality, resolution, sound speed, data fliers, data (sounding) density and data gaps (holidays) and metadata quality is assessed against the metadata specified within the Multibeam Guidelines. Each of the priority elements should be scrutinised in full, with a determination of quality based on expert opinion and validation.
