SUBMISSION | A collection of Acquisitions submitted to AusSeabed as a package of data |
ACQUISITION | Data Acquisition from one or more Platforms and Sensors over a defined period of time, that can generate multiple products and resolutions |
ACQUISITION CODE | This is generally considered the SURVEY ID. An identifier provider from the data acquirer |
COMPILATION | A combination of distinct Acquisitions from multiple sources, platforms and sensors that is often covering a wide time period |

Contributing Data Partner | A contributing data partner is an organisation that has agreed to assign custodianship for a data product to GA, as an implemented AusSeabed Data Hub. |

L2 | An AusSeabed term to categorise a data level relating to Processed data |
L3 | An AusSeabed term to categorise a data level relating to generated products often Gridded. |
PLATFORM | Platform is the structure or vehicles on which instruments are mounted. (Ground based, Airborne, Satellite, Water based) |
