Survey metadata must accompany all subsidiary datasets and at all data levels (Raw L0, Processed L2, Gridded L3).

Metadata can be provided to a Contributing Hub, in a number of digital formats (.txt, .csv, .xls), for the immediate future until the AusSeabed Metadata Data Register and Data submission tool has been developed and released for public access.

Please supply all reports

All reports should be supplied in Adobe PDF format. A Survey Report of Survey template can be found at AusSeabed Record Templates.

The Survey reports will should include a list of the equipment and software used and version; how the echo sounder transducer was set up and levelled, what vertical reference was used and how depths were reduced to adopted datum. A Levelling diagram is a useful method of confirming that datum adjustments have been carried out correctly.
